Bishop Dag Heward Mills, head of the Lighthouse Group of Churches, has argued in favor of polygamy.
The man of God was heard in a social media video discussing why the Bible doesn’t forbid polygamy.
He discussed how many of the role models that Christians look up to practiced polygamy.
Even the Bible was cited by the Bishop to bolster his sermons;
“Nature even supports polygamy; there is no animal that has only one wife,” he said, quoting 1 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV), which reads: “Doth not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it is a shame unto him?”
He then proceeded to ask: “Which goat has one wife? Which dog has one wife?”
