Asante Kotoko player returns from injure ahead of Hearts of Oak blockbuster

Asante Kotoko has got an injury boost ahead of their Matchday 31 clash with rivals Hearts of Oak.

Frederick Asare, the Porcupines’ number one goalkeeper, has returned to the Adako Jachie Training Complex following a minor injury sustained during training last week.

The injury sidelined the Black Stars goalie during the club’s recent defeat to Berekum Chelsea, so Moise Pouaty took over at Golden City Park.

However, Asare is anticipated to return to goal on Sunday when Kotoko hosts Hearts of Oak.

The game, scheduled for Matchday 31 on Sunday, May 26th, will electrify Baba Yara Stadium as the nation’s two most illustrious clubs face off.
