Gusto’s impressive creative stats could give Chelsea the edge in potentially tight match up with Newcastle
Sky Sports’ tipster has picked out some very interesting facts about Malo Gusto in his predictions for this week’s scores.
The full back has suddenly become the centre of attention this week – it feels like that superb cross against Brentford last week woke everyone up to the fact that he’s been quietly having a great season since shaking off some early fitness issues.
Their tipster notes that Gusto has created 17 chances from open play since December 23rd. That’s more than two a game, putting him among the league’s most creative players in the last couple of months.
He even tips Gusto for an assist on Monday night, in a game he predicts “should see goals flow at both ends.”
We can see that, but we can also see it being a little cagey. Neither team wants to lose, and especially early on, it could be tense and taut.
Still, if anyone is ready to break that pattern, it will be Gusto flying up from full back.
