“It’s a sign” – Chelsea striker target speaks on his future with summer move looming

One of Chelsea’s striker targets has spoken out about his future at his club with a potential summer move now on the cards.

There was plenty of speculation about this guy in the January window, because he does have a release clause that could have been triggered, and still can be, during any transfer window at any moment.

Sources: Clubs now registering summer interest in Chelsea goalkeeper with hope of a sale!

No club decided to trigger the clause to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting in the January window, but there are certainly clubs interested in signing him in the summer. The Daily Mirror have once again attributed both Chelsea and Arsenal as potential suitors for the striker this summer.

The in-form Gyokeres has also been speaking on his future and he certainly doesn’t close the door on moving at the end of this season.

The 25-year-old joined the Portuguese top-flight side in the summer from Championship Coventry. And he believes that he must be doing something right to be gaining all this attention.

The striker will take any interest more seriously this summer. He told Swedish news outlet Fotbollskanalen: “It’s a sign that I’ve performed well.

“But it’s not something I take too seriously, since it’s just speculation. But of course, it’s fun. We’ll see this summer. It’s not something I know about myself, what will happen. I enjoy Sporting extremely well and feel no stress about the summer coming quickly.”

Gyokeres added: “It is clear that what I have done has attracted attention, but it is not really my focus in everyday life. But of course, it’s fun that I have fans who appreciate what I’ve done.”
