A man named Kazeem Yekini is seeking a divorce, claiming that his wife, Opeyemi, bullies and blackmails him.
Appearing before a Mapo Grade A Customary Court in Ibadan, Mr. Yekini expressed that the marriage has negatively impacted his life.
He accused his wife of blackmailing him in various places and causing harm to his reputation.
Additionally, he alleged that she cast a spell on him, leading to significant hardship, and threatened to continue blackmailing him in Ibadan.
The court is currently considering the plea for the dissolution of the marriage.
“As if these were not enough, she locks me up in a room, thus preventing me from going to my daily business.

He told the court that neighbours and family members never attempted to intervene “because they are afraid of her’’.
Mrs. Opeyemi did not deny any of the allegations levelled against her under cross-examination.
Instead, she prayed the court to help her to resolve the matter amicably.
