Tabloid details how Chelsea can raise £300m in player sales this summer

Chelsea could raise almost £300million by selling 10 players with the Blues reportedly set for a major clear-out this summer as they look to comply with the Premier League‘s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

This is according to a report from The Daily Mail this week, and they go on to detail exactly how Chelsea can raise such a huge figure.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea scout Newcastle player this week and meet with Toon owners – Chelsea’s owners share a good relationship with Newcastle’s owners, and it could lead to some business!

They have named the following players and fees that they could fetch, should they be sold in the summer before the end of June to comply with the financial regulations.

  • Conor Gallagher: £50m
  • Raheem Sterling: £50m
  • Romelu Lukaku: £37m
  • Kepa Arrizabalaga: £35m
  • Ian Maatsen: £35m
  • Lewis Hall: £27m
  • Armando Broja: £13m
  • Trevoh Chalobah: £13m
  • Marc Cucurella: £13m
  • Hakim Ziyech: £10m

I don’t think that these are even too unrealistic either and many of these sales are fairly doable and likely to happen.

Chelsea will then have more leeway for more new arrivals at the end of the season!
