Today’s Chelsea training video reveals a little about how the staff break down their duties at Cobham.
Mauricio Pochettino’s right hand man Jesus Perez is the one with the boring job – he has to be the one to read out the rules of the drills and make sure everyone has the hang of it, presumably in a couple of different languages.
Meanwhile Pochettino gets to take a back seat and just observe how everyone gets on in performing the exercises.
This looks to have been a fun week, with lots of youngsters involved filling in the gaps of players abroad. We find out this Saturday if further improvements have been made.
