We are sorry forgive us – Asante Kotoko assistant coach beg fans

David Ocloo, the assistant coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has implored the club’s fans to forgive them for losing the Kumasi derby against Nations.

Asante Kotoko suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in a match-week 23 encounter at the Baba Yara Sport Stadium courtesy of Asamoah Boateng Afriyie’s 10th goal of the season.

Acknowledging his side’s ill luck in their recent football matches, David Ocloo urged the Kotoko faithfuls to forgive his side for the loss and keep on supporting them as they strive to turn things around.

“They should forgive us for such a result, but they should keep supporting us, and we will not disappoint them. It is not over yet. This is the time that we need them most, so they shouldn’t neglect us. They should be with us. We would turn things around.”

The defeat moves the Porcupine Warriors further away from the title but moves Nations FC closer.
