2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup: John Antwi confident Dreams FC will reach semifinal

Dreams FC striker John Antwi is confident the club are capable of reaching the semifinal of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.

The veteran attacker is saying this ahead of their crucial quarterfinal clash against Malian side Stade Malien on Sunday in Bamako.

The former Pyramid of Egypt striker stated that the Still Believe lads have exceeded expectations and are striving to do more.

“Of course coming this far, I know a lot of Ghanaians didn’t expect us to do this well,” he told 3Sports.

“We have done well to come this far but then going forward with our Coach Karim Zito, who has a lot of experience and everybody on board, I think we can be able to go to the semi-final.”

In eight matches in the CAF Confederation Cup, John Antwi has scored four goals to help Dreams reach the money zone.

The first leg is slated to come off this weekend in Bamako, with Dreams FC set to host the return leg in Kumasi the subsequent Sunday.
