Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo is confident Ghana can qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

This is after admitting that upcoming qualification matches against Mali and Central African Republic will be tough.

Speaking ahead of Ghana’s friendly against Uganda this evening, Coach Otto Addo said Ghana is behind in the World Cup qualifiers after winning one and losing the other game in the qualifiers.

He said regardless of the current standings in Group I, the group remains open and everything is possible.

“This evening we will be watching Comoros on how they play. They are also in a trainings camp and tomorrow after our match we will be watching Mali a little bit. Our analyzers have been cutting some scenes from their previous matches. After these matches I will fully prepare for these two matches so that we are not surprised. It’s going to be tough because we are little bit behind but it’s a group where everything is open, everything is possible and I think we have a good chance to win the two upcoming matches,” Coach Otto Addo said.

The qualification matches against Mali and Central African Republic will be played in June.
