I am currently working as a teacher in a primary school, even though I am a graduate of senior high school. I am passionate about my work because I genuinely love children. I strive to teach them everything they need to know, engage in playtime with them, and provide guidance.
However, there is a particular child in my class who sometimes refuses to enter the classroom because of me. She claims to be scared, despite my never resorting to physical punishment. The moment she steps into the school, she begins crying and screams as if I am causing her harm, even when I simply ask a question or glance at her face. Auntie, this has left me devastated. Her parents have come to the school, making complaints here and there. I am no longer happy with this situation.
One time, she told me she needed to use the restroom and went to the headmistress to report that I am scaring her. I am contemplating giving up, but I worry about how I will sustain myself until new schools start hiring teachers next year.
