There seems to be a beef going on between Gospel musicians, Joe Mettle and Piesie Esther.
The two artists met at an event but Piesie Esther completely ignored Joe Mettle and walked away to greet the next person seated next to him.
While this seemed like a problem, some people defended Piesie Esther by saying she probably ignored Joe Mettle because he was praying and she didn’t want to interrupt.
Piesie Esther and Joe Mettle are among the top award-winning gospel artists in Ghana. There hasn’t been a scuffle between the two artists over the past years and as a result, this new development raises some concerns.
Recall that during the Vodafone Music Awards last year, Artist Manager and entertainment pundit, Bullgod had made some claims that a lot of attention was given to Joe Mettle while Piesie Esther was left on her own.
According to Bullgod, the attention of the gospel fraternity was directed at Piesie Esther who was in the running for the “Artist of the Year” award, neglecting Joe Mettle, who was also nominated in the same category.
In an interview on TV3 ‘New Day’, Bullgod argued that if there was genuine unity, Joe Mettle would have also been supported by Christians and the Gospel fraternity for the “Artiste of the Year” award.
