The Dormaa Central Municipal Manager Of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Mr. Felix Oppong Yeboah has disclosed that issues of Co-payment and Top-ups have been a major problem associated with the National Health Insurance Authority but leadership is working assiduously to avoid the canker to ensure effective usage of the Health insurance card to access quality healthcare.

Speaking to newsmen During a free special Health Insurance registration and renewal exercise for residents within Dormaa Central municipality on Wednesday, Feb 14 2024 as part of Valentine’s Day give-away, Mr. Felix Oppong Yeboah pleaded with Health insurance card holders who are being tasked to pay monies by healthcare providers to report to authorities of the scheme with proof of evidence of payment for thorough investigation and redress of the extortion.
